Sarah is the drink master you want at your wedding! I do a lot of weddings and let me tell you, she is a gem. Her personality was pleasant, spunky, and guests loved her. Drinks were non-stop and everyone kept coming back for more… I may have had 3 or 4 myself!
She brought her entire set up to the Mt. Adams, WA venue; containers, canisters, signs, flavors, milk varieties, glasses, personalized cups and of course the coffee!! She was there before I was, and even created a signature drink for the couple! She matched the mountainside venue and high class details the wedding vibed with a black and dark green outfit. Signs displayed the guest options and I even heard returning guests saying “surprise me” as she then happily concocted something not on the menu.
Sarah believes that clean, healthy ingredients make the best coffee and she is right. “They taste so much better!” The value of coffee is heightened by her many made in-house ingredients, always fresh and created without added ingredients or preservatives. There’s something special about homemade, and you can taste it when you take a sip. Her coffee was smooth, and piping hot. The subtle flavor she added allowed you to appreciate the coffee while enjoying a hint of fall flavor.
As frequent flyers of Bow and Arrow Coffeehouse the bride and groom wanted to share a piece of what brought them together with their guests. Sarah of Bow and Arrow met with them personally (over a cup of coffee of course!) to hear about their plans, wedding style, location, favorite flavors and what their must haves were. Their request? Sarah’s famous homemade caramel sauce had to make an appearance, and they wanted a fun mocktail-type drink but other than that she had all the freedom. After learning of the fall date, and the rustic mountain theme she was inspired.
She offered hot and iced coffee, unique fall flavors, and of course the couple inspired Carmel Apple Crush. A concoction that perfectly fit the end of summer into fall vibe and rustic mountain venue of the wedding. “Apple cider pairs nicely with caramel and fits the time of year, the sprig of rosemary matched the evergreen foliage that was part of their decor” and the apple added a nice pop of color and a little bit of love! She took time to hand cut heart shaped apple slices for the drink decoration and ordered top notch toothpicks to give a little extra to the Carmel Apple Crush. Guests kept going back for more!
Conclusion
In conclusion, Sarah did a kickass job. If I were to go back and change one thing about my wedding I would have had Sarah and her Bow and Arrow Coffee bar. The signature drink was well thought out, cute and absolutely delicious. She was early to arrive, the last to leave, her personality was lovely and all the guests were well caffeinated to party into the night! As my assistant and I were leaving she brought us coffees for the road, so thoughtful and much appreciated for our late night drive home. I hope to see this gem again.
